it started in Central Jersey. 💙

on August 8, women came together for the first Indigo Streets community meetup — walking, making friendship bracelets, playing Giant Jenga, meeting each other, and helping shape what we're building. the first meetup was only the beginning.

why indigo streets exists

this started with a simple belief

women deserve community that exists outside of a screen.

I kept thinking about how many of us have had the thought — I wish I had someone nearby to take a walk with, play tennis with, try a new hobby with, or just get out of the house with. We can live surrounded by people and still feel like finding someone to actually do life with is harder than it should be.

I deeply believe local community can be lifesaving for women. We move through so many phases of life — new cities, new careers, school, relationships, motherhood, heartbreak, grief, starting over, and everything in between. Having people close enough to actually show up matters.

And we deserve spaces where we can play, be silly, try something new, and reconnect with our inner child. That's what Indigo Streets is for.
