this started with a simple belief

women deserve community that exists outside of a screen. and finding someone nearby to actually do life with shouldn't be as hard as it is.

I kept thinking about how many of us have had the thought — I wish I had someone nearby to take a walk with, play tennis with, try a new hobby with, or just get out of the house with. We can live surrounded by people and still feel like finding someone to actually do life with is harder than it should be.

I deeply believe local community can be lifesaving for women. We move through so many phases of life — new cities, new careers, school, relationships, motherhood, heartbreak, grief, starting over, and everything in between. Having people close enough to actually show up matters.

We deserve places where we can play, be silly, try something new, and reconnect with our inner child.

where we are right now

Indigo Streets is free to use during early access — because we're building this alongside our first community, and that feels right. When we launch on the iOS App Store, we plan to keep it affordable — around $5 a month — because access to community shouldn't be a luxury.

So far, I've personally funded Indigo Streets and have been incredibly lucky to have people volunteer their time and skills because they believe in what this could become. Now we need help taking it further.

Contributions go directly toward making Indigo Streets safer, stronger, and better — including experienced technical and iOS support, legal and safety guidance, design, infrastructure, and community events that bring women together in real life. Your support helps us build this faster and with better structure.

Our first goal is $15,000 — enough to bring in experts where we need them most and give Indigo Streets the professional support it needs to grow.
